Gorgone
IGP TERRE SICILIANE
Evident maceration with clear herbaceous notes followed by a strong spiciness, walnut and ripe peach. Bitter orange peel, black pepper, pineapple and tropical fruit. Ripe fruit without ever drooling. Austere and profound.
Clean entry then leaving room for tannin, an enveloping tannin and growing structure accompanied by savory and above all fruity notes, again bitter orange and tropical fruit, then dried apricot and dried fruit. Candied fruit.
Long, tannic and savory, enveloping citrus and citrus, light spices.
Wine with an important structure, so much so that it deserves the wait in the glass and also in the cellar. It amazes the palate, with the tannin that would not disfigure on a red Langarolo giving life to a glass suitable for the most demanding table, perhaps with an eye to the wonders of gastronomic Sicily.
